Professional security training & development

Tier 1 Security Group trains security professionals the way the work is done: physically prepared, observant, clear on the radio, and sound under pressure. Our flagship course is PSRDC-01, two days, six graded phases, one personal performance report.

How we assess

Scored on what you do

Every phase has written stations and a printed scorecard. Evaluators record evidence for each score, so your report shows exactly where you are strong and where to train next.

  • Station scoringEach station is scored 0 to 100 against published criteria and averaged into a phase score.
  • Safety firstA safety stop is recorded on its own. Points never offset unsafe conduct, and any instructor can stop any activity.
  • Your reportYou leave with phase scores, strengths, development areas and 30-day training actions.
  • Honest labelsPilot results are observational feedback. An incomplete event is marked incomplete, never zero.

About Tier 1

Built by an operator, for working professionals

Tier 1 started with a simple question: what does a security professional need to be able to do on a bad day, and how do you prove they can do it?

The answer is practice, measurement and feedback. Our courses are physically honest, scenario driven and scored on observed performance. We aim to be one of the most professional security companies in Nebraska, and we start by holding our own training to a standard we can show you.

Questions

Before you enroll

Is PSRDC-01 a license or certification?

No. It is professional development. It does not grant a security license, a state or federal firearms permit or qualification, a CPR/AED certification or any medical credential, and it does not authorize you to carry a weapon. The pistol qualification is a Tier 1 course standard.

Do I need my own firearm?

Yes. Students bring their own handgun, ammunition, a holster that covers the trigger guard, and eye and ear protection. You must be legally eligible to possess a firearm, and you confirm that in writing at enrollment. No firearms come to Day 1.

How demanding is the physical test?

Day 1 opens with it. It includes a timed circuit of running, a sled drag, a loaded carry and a ski ergometer, followed by push-ups, chin-ups, sandbag lifts, a sprint and agility work. Every student takes the same test. Start training with running, push-ups, chin-ups and carries before class.

What do I get at the end?

A personal performance report with your score in each phase, an overall result, your strengths, areas to develop and a 30-day training plan.

How big are the classes?

The pilot class is limited to 8 students so every student gets real instructor attention.
